HOW TO CREATE A PRODUCT PASSPORT
Follow these simple steps to create your first Battery Passport. ORIGO Product Cloud will guide you in each step and make sure that you provide the necessary attributes to follow the EU Battery regulation.
The Battery Model is the standardized product definition that identifies a specific battery design and configuration shared by multiple individual batteries.
It represents the type of battery, not a single physical unit.
Battery Model attributes can either be entered manually, imported or retrieved using an API integration.
The Battery Batch is a group of batteries produced under the same conditions and timeframe, used as an intermediate level of traceability between the battery model and individual batteries.
It represents how and when batteries were made, not just what they are.
Battery Batch attributes can either be entered manually, imported or retrieved using an API integration.
The Battery is the individual physical unit represented by the passport, the lowest and most granular level of identification and traceability.
It represents one specific battery, not a type or a production group.
A Battery has a link to its Battery Model (design and specifications) and a link to its Battery Batch (production and process context).
Battery attributes can either be entered manually, imported or retrieved using an API integration.
The Battery Passport is the digital record that tracks a battery throughout its entire life-cycle, linking a physical battery to standardized, verified information about its design, materials, production, use, and end-of-life.
Telemetry is the operational data generated by the battery during use, such as State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), temperature, voltage, current and charge/discharge cycles.
Telemetry data is either imported or retrieved using an API integration.
